About CRAFY’s ring-making process

｜STEP 1 Counseling

Our coordinator will provide detailed explanations about the handmade process and services.

We have staff who can assist you in English, as well as translation devices available. Don’t worry if you don’t speak Japanese!

｜STEP 2 Choosing a design

We will decide on the design of the ring, including materials, shape, surface finish, presence and placement of gemstones, and more.
After finalizing the design, we will provide you with a quotation.
We can also propose designs that fit your budget. Please feel free to discuss any details with us.

｜STEP 3 Starting the ring-making

Once the design is finalized and the quotation is approved, we will proceed with the ring-making process.
There are two methods for crafting rings at CRAFY. You can choose the course that best suits your preference.

　　

The prototype created in the wax course will be processed into metal by craftsmen. We will deliver the final product in the same shape as the one you created, with a glossy (or matte) finish.

｜STEP 4 Completion to delivery

The ring will be finalized and delivered along with a video capturing the production scene. *Please consult with us in advance for international shipping. Depending on the area, we may not be able to accept orders or additional charges may apply.

Price：The price for a wedding ring starts from ¥37,000 for one.

For wedding rings, the price is calculated based on the weight (amount of metal) of the ring to be made. It varies depending on the width, size, and design. The minimum price is ¥37,000 for one ring plus a production fee of ¥11,000. (Most are in the range of ¥50,000 to ¥60,000.)

For engagement rings, the price is determined by the weight (carat) of the diamond to be set in the center. Unlike wedding rings, the price does not vary based on the amount of metal. For example, a diamond weighing 0.03 carats costs ¥66,000 plus a production fee of ¥11,000.

At CRAFY, we offer DIY ring-making kits and custom-made courses that can be done from the comfort of your home. You can create a unique ring that is one-of-a-kind for the two of you.
